can you grow san pedro cacti hydroponically?
I have 2 san pedro cacti, a lot of free time and access to what I need to make a hydroponic growing system and I want to know if I can you grow my cacti hydroponically or if that would rot the roots. If i don’t get a good response I’ll probably get another cactus and test it rather than using my 2 established cacti.
since cacti are xerophytic, a hydroponic system is unnecessary. You would probably end up killing them. Think about all cacti that grow in arid regions that get very little annual precipitation. They do really well.
