what are the best lights to use for growing “tomato” plants indoors?
i know 1000 watt ballast lights are decent but is there anything else a lil cheaper?? let me know. PEACE

Be careful of the scale of your tomato growing operation. Grow lights draw a lot of power compared to residential lighting. The power companies can send a report to law enforcement when they see unusual power consumption for that type of account. There are also heat scanning systems used to detect a lot of wattage burning in an area it normally wouldn’t be in. If you plan to grow a lot of tomatoes, you’ll want to have a commercial account in a location where it would be normal to consume a lot of electricity and generate heat, so as to not get a lot of attention from people you would rather not invite in to see your tomato plants.
