Watts Hps Kit
my grow lights keep cutting out……..?
i have a 400 watt canatronics eco-lite grow kit with a 250 watt hps (high pressure sodium) bulb, the problem is that when it turns on it cuts out after about 20 – 60 minutes of being on, 1 out of 10 times it turns itself back on after 10-30 seconds but most times i have to turn it back on manually.
what could be the problem? i think it might be somthing to do with the ballast but im really not sure.
the ballast can take 400 watts and the bulb is 250 watts, why would there be too many watts?
i dont think it has a thermal cut out or a sensor
Does it have a thermal cut out or a light dependent sensor?
